  1. Psalms 8:9 “Oh Lord our Lord, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth!” God will reign and will be lifted up. Every knee will bow to Yeshua, the Savior sent by His Father in heaven.

  2. Check out this post from Walid Shoebat!

    Walid Shoebat

Is Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf – founder of the hugely controversial Ground Zero Mosque – lying to the American public?

We have uncovered extraordinary contradictions between what he says in English and what he says in Arabic that raise serious questions about his true intentions in the construction of the mosque.

On May 25, 2010 Abdul Rauf wrote in an article for the New York Daily News: “My colleagues and I are the anti-terrorists. We are the people who want to embolden the vast majority of Muslims who hate terrorism to stand up to the radical rhetoric. Our purpose is to interweave America’s Muslim population into the mainstream society.”

    Oh really?

Only two months before, on March 24, 2010, Abdul Rauf is quoted in an article in Arabic for Rights4All entitled (from one of his responses) “I Do Not Believe in Religious Dialogue”.

Yes, you read that correctly and, yes, that is an accurate translation. And Right4All is not an obscure blog, but the website of the media department of Cairo University, the leading educational institution of the Arabic-speaking world.

In the article, the Imam said the following of the “religious dialogue” and “interweaving into the mainstream society” that he so solemnly seems to advocate in the Daily News and elsewhere: “This phrase is inaccurate. Religious dialogue as customarily understood is a set of events with discussions in large hotels that result in nothing. Religions do not dialogue and dialogue is not present in the attitudes of the followers, regardless of being Muslim or Christian. The image of Muslims in the West is complex which needs to be remedied.”

But that’s only the beginning of what we learn from the Rights4All piece. When asked his view regarding an Islamic state, Abdul Rauf responded that “Throughout my discussions with contemporary Muslim theologians, it is clear an Islamic state can be established in more then just a single form or mold. It can be established through a kingdom or a democracy. The important issue is to establish the general fundamentals of Shariah that are required to govern. It is known that there are sets of standards that are accepted by [Muslim] scholars to organize the relationships between government and the governed.”

When questioned about this, Abdul Rauf continued “Current governments are unjust and do not follow Islamic laws.” He added “New laws were permitted after the death of Muhammad, so long of course that these laws do not contradict the Quran or the Deeds of Muhammad…so they create institutions that assure no conflicts with Shariah.” [emphasis in translation]

In yet plainer English, Abdul Rauf’s goal is the imposition of Shariah law – in every country, including the U. S.

He made that even clearer in an interview with Sa’da Abdul Maksoud that appeared on the popular Islamic website Hadiyul-Islam on May 26, 2010 – one day after his article for the New York Daily News.

In the Hadiyul-Islam article, Abdul Rauf reiterates that an Islamic state under Shariah law with no separation of church and state can be established even when the government is a kingdom or a democracy.

But these attitudes are nothing new for the (alas, few) people who have been paying attention. Way back on September 30, 2001, Faisal Abdul Rauf was interviewed on 60 Minutes by host Ed Bradley. Their verbatim dialogue from this CBS News transcript concluded:

BRADLEY: Are–are–are you in any way suggesting that we in the United States deserved what happened?

Imam ABDUL RAUF: I wouldn’t say that the United States deserved what happened, but the United States policies were an accessory to the crime that happened.

BRADLEY: OK. You say that we’re an accessory?

    Imam ABDUL RAUF: Yes.

    BRADLEY: How?

Imam ABDUL RAUF: Because we have been an accessory to a lot of–of innocent lives dying in the world. In fact, it–in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the USA.

This is the “anti-terrorist” of the Daily News article?

The Faisal Abdul Rauf who spoke to 60 Minutes in 2001 is the same Abdul Rauf who, in the last couple of months, espoused the spread of Shariah law on Arabic websites and said the opposite in the pages of the Daily News. He is the man New York City authorities are about to allow to build a mosque on Ground Zero.

  3. This statement is very interesting, “Throughout my discussions with contemporary Muslim theologians, it is clear an Islamic state can be established in more then just a single form or mold. It can be established through a kingdom or a democracy. The important issue is to establish the general fundamentals of Shariah that are required to govern.” What I want to say about this is that Muslims are getting pretty influential today. I think it would be good to get into apologetics concerning the Islamic faith. For one thing, the Jesus that they believe in is really not the historical Jesus that is portrayed in the New Testament scriptures. It’s amazing to find out that our Christian faith is historically sound and accurate, well a lot more accurate than the Muslim scriptures (Q’ran). It’s good to know that the New Testament scriptures make sense historically and that the stories are reasonable or makes sense. Thank God for sending His Son to redeem us and to be our mediator between us and Yhwh.

I hope this link is live. I found this very very interesting…This man is an Arab Christian who grew up Muslim, and has a lot of insight into Scriptural references to Islam as the enemy of God. If you continue through the various parts, which are available one by one, he eventually gets into the various names for “Allah” and their meanings in Arabic. Quite eye-opening.

I think we are being lulled into a false sense and not perceiving the dangers. Islam is far, far more dangerous than I think most Americans are perceiving right now…

I haven’t heard the Line of Fire show yet, but will soon. I would definitely be against the idea of building a mosque at that site, and find this development very disturbing on many levels.

    Check out the link…

  5. 2 Corinthians 11:14 “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

  6. I live in Moslem country(Indonesia) one of the most tolerant Islamic Country in the world(so many said that)..all i can say yes there are many tolerant moslem, but they’re the “unreligious” one or the “moderate” one or if i may say in Evangelical term it just as the same as The “UNBORN Again Christian” or “Liberal Christian”…But when they become “TRUE MOSLEM” they will become intolerant at minimum and become violent at max..For info It’s VERY2 HARD TO Build A Church in Indonesia even in Nation’s capital JAKARTA…The West especially U.S is so disillusioned that they tolerate INTOLERANCE..

  7. Many people in our country are wearing blinders. The muslims have an agenda and it’s not one of forgiveness and peace.

  8. Yes John, I wonder if having the freedom of speech in our constitution was a really bad mistake ???

  9. John, you said “I live in Moslem country(Indonesia) one of the most tolerant Islamic Country in the world”

Are you saying that your country is disillusioned that they tolerate INTOLERANCE?

  10. As a Christian, I think that we should tolerate many things, but we first and foremost, hold to our profession of faith to God.

Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:23

  11. This mosque would be seen as a symbol of success for the Jihadists who flew into the towers!

True believers in Islam believe in forcing Shariah law on everyone, period. I’ve had to learn that this is not just a right-wing, paranoid fantasy about Muslims, it is really the truth.

Our country right now is simply failing to perceive the danger of Islam out of ignorance, and I should know, because I was also one who just ASSUMED good things about Islam. It’s a major world religion, and I just assumed these were ALL based on some ideal of love for all. I wanted to believe at one time in “moderate Islam” — but my eyes have been opened through knowledge shared by those who really have lived with it and understand it. I’ve had to conclude that “moderate Islam” is the fantasy.

The situation is comparable to having a guest at one’s home. It is one thing to welcome people into our lives, but where is the line drawn? When they attempt to take over our house. It’s not uncharitable to draw boundaries to protect our home and loved ones, is it? Is it loving to those who are in our care to fail to protect them? No, of course not. Until we see the danger inherent in the spread of Islam, we assume they will be like all “good guests” who will know how to be respectful.

The argument for tolerance of those who have no tolerance for others makes about as much sense as sheep deciding to allow wolves “equal room” in their pasture.

If we are to be as wily as serpents, and as harmless as doves, we can’t afford to remain deceived about what Islam really actually teaches (an abiding hatred for all Jews) and relentlessly works for: the day when they have total world domination.

  12. Hey Ruth, that was a funny comment that you made about tolerating Muslim people.

“The argument for tolerance of those who have no tolerance for others makes about as much sense as sheep deciding to allow wolves “equal room” in their pasture.”

I wonder where we draw the line ???

  13. The whole peaceful idea of Islam is not sound and inaccurate. The so called “Fundamentalist Islamic Terroist” is actual true Islam. I’ve been stationed at the Detainee camp in GTMO back in 2002. Let me tell you I’ve learned quite a bit of the Law/Religion of Islam. I personally love arab peoples(they are our cousins; I’m a jewish believer) but not the spirit of Islam. If this mosque were to be built right there in grounds zero it really is a victory to the Islamic world. There will only be peace until the hagiminity of islam of the world, then there will be peace (catch 22). Todays Islam is based on the verse of the sword (koran surah 9) the early beginnings of islam in Medina was peaceful due to mohammed not having a huge following; this changed in Mecca and there is a verse in the koran (surah 2:106) that states basically any earlier verses became null&void e.g. (Koran (earlier verse) surah 2:256 614 A.D.; “There is no compulsion (i.e. coercion) in religion. Koran (later verse) surah 9:5 627 A.D.; Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them… but if they repent and accept Islam… then leave their way free. (the prophet or lack there of is changing his book not amending or adding a new covenant so to speak). The issue that Jihad means struggle in arabic is true but the meaning for the latter is used in regards to war. Mein kampf means struggle but look where that leaded too. The so called peaceful muslims dont understand the edicts of jurisprudence of islam which states that the verse of the sword made null/void all peacful verses of the koran. There needs to be a huge revival for the holy spirit to reach the arab peoples to come to Jesus, they revere and have a longing to know God but all they know is fear not love. Let’s pray for them that Jesus will show himself to them in visions and dreams and through us to share the wonderful good news.

  14. GO TO http://WWW.ACTFORAMERICA.COM AND SIGN THE PETITION TO STOP THE BILDING OF THIS ABOMINATION!!!! What Islamists are trying to accomplish by building this mosque at this location is par for the course. After they have success killing infidels, it is consistent to erect a memorial for the Muslims that died and honor the victory over the infidel. This is part of the process of demoralizing a society that they intend to dominate and rule. They destroy all churches and major cultural sights that are symbolic of the strength and identity of the society that they intend to triumph over…that’s why they chose the Twin Towers, in addition to financial reasons, in the first place and that’s why they are building a mosque there now to finish the cycle. Simple, destroy and than build, destroy and build…that’s the cycle… JOIN YOUR LOCAL ACT FOR AMERICA CHAPTER in your city/town AND SIGN THE PETITION TO STOP THE BUILDING OF THIS MOSQUE!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMERICANS STAND UP AND FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT

  15. Hi, Robert Shalom…
    Yes i’m a Christian..from my last comments,may i make it clear..about some statements:
    1. Indonesia(The no.1 Moslem population in the world) my country as the most tolerance Moslem country>> from this statement what i wanna bring up is..even in Indonesia the most consider tolerance Moslem country, even in my country it’s actually very2 hard to Build a church even in Nation’s Capital..in my country Imams(Moslem leaders) can wrote books or give sermon criticizing Jesus&Christianity but if we Christian ever criticizes Moslem we will be put to jail..another example if a Christian preacher ever turns a moslem into Christianity than the Christian preacher will be put to jail..but if a IMAM ever persuade a Christian person into Islam..than the Imam may go into National TV or National Newspaper and be granted as hero… That how sick my country is ,so there i wanna show u how Moslem Tolerate non-moslem in my country

2.The West are being disillusioned by tolerating intolerance..>> What i mean is ya’ll people in the West should really2 &carefully draw the line on what that can be tolerated&what can’t, BULIDING A MOSQUE IN GROUND ZERO IS THE MOST STUPID THING I EVER HEARD..IT’LL JUST JUSTIFIES THE JIHADIST CLAIM THAT ALLAH (OTHER NAME OF LUCIFER)IS GREAT

  16. Interesting to hear the comparison to the crusades. I’m not sure that your statement was 100% accurate that the crusades were not a part of christian teaching. How else can I read verses like Luke 19.27 (parable starts in verse 11)?

I have read that scripture several times and it never struck me until I started reading about church history.

I do not agree with the building of the mosque, but I don’t believe that the truth of church history should be suppressed.

  17. ben, Your take on the “suppression” of church history is? There are some who can find some redeeming qualities in parts of the Crusades, and some who write all of them off as dross. It takes considerable research of written information (data) from that time to understand and find the different experience involved for some. The truth may be in the middle. The brother from Indonesia is trying to tell us something.

  18. My God, on 9/11. Undoubtedly there were believing martyrs in the twin towers incinerated on 9/11, in addition to those serving this present world system dieing. How so? By the very lives they led of devotion as they went about their daily work lives.

In the Islamic world the USA is considered the “Christian Nation.” Placing the mosque over the site is indeed a yielding of ground to the enemy who cloaks himself as Allah, a polygomous superstitious and forceful twisting of real authority stemming from above.

Recall how those of the west, including journalists, were constantly being beheaded in the early reports of the Iraq War? Well, Ruth’s special revelation for protecting her own son found in a recent other date here shows the Holy Spirit knowing in advance–by almost a year–of the coming Iraq War. Muhammed was the “anointed prophet” who started the beheading as the model of his kind of religion.

He also broke his own covenants made with others after he gained enough military power to overcome other allied groups. His genocide of Jewish communities in Arabia, and taking of their women as slaves, wives, and concubines (along with their children) is indeed telling. Yet we are to tolerate a Mosque to his God where Osama’s Jihad vision was completed?

Of the so-called pillars of Islam only Jihad is considered to be above all others when applied.

  19. John, If I was living in your country, I would need to have a lot of faith in the Living God who promises to give His people everlasting joy through Yeshua, the Son of the living God.

  20. Psalms 9:9-11 “The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.”

  21. If God is omniscient (all-knowing), then when He created the universe, He should already have known how every creature would freely act even though we presently make free decisions everyday of our lives. That would mean that God knew everything the devil would do. Therefore, God knows whether this Mosque is going to be built. But we know that God’s house, the house that we belong to in Christ, will stand for all time and to eternity.

  22. et us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:23

  23. Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:23

  24. The Mosque issue is important, but I think that we should also examine our own individual lives if we’re right with God in faith and truth. I think that it begins with us.

For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17

  25. 1 Peter 4:18-19 “AND IF IT IS WITH DIFFICULTY THAT THE RIGHTEOUS IS SAVED, WHAT WILL BECOME OF THE GODLESS MAN AND THE SINNER Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.”

  26. As the Creator of the universe, God is all-powerful. As God, the highest conceivable being must have moral perfection. As an all-powerful God, He freely chooses the one who will inherit His possessions. As we all know, God gave the promise to Israel.

  27. As an all-powerful AND ALL-LOVING God, He freely chooses the one who will inherit His possessions. God gave the promise to His people.

  28. Truely, just who is the real puppeteer behind the 9/11 attack? Just what do we war against?

Look at the temple mount in Israel. Who controls it at this time? Yes, there is an agenda, and it isn’t just about Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists or any other religion. Anything not of Christ Jesus is of the Antichrist. Just as the the frog who stares at the sky from the bottom of the well, let us not narrow our gaze and focus only what can be seen.

Does our God need defending? Is He concerned about the mosque and what signal it will send out to the world? Or is the harvest plentiful and there be too few harvesters?

  29. I believe God calls us to act.

We could always say (and be correct) that God’s will shall triumph, no matter what the Devil does.

But will Jesus not call us into account for what we did and did not do before His return?

If I’m wrong, please set me straight. But I don’t think Hindus or Buddhists have ever called for the destruction of the Jews. Fundamentalist Muslims (that is, true believers in Islam) have proven over centuries, though, that their hatred for Jews is inexhaustible.

  30. It matters that after the Jihadist act of 9/11 a mosque could be built near that site.

A child would be able to read the significance of that symbolism.

The Muslim world is not owed any tokens of capitulation by America. They are the victims of their own belief system. It is a cruel system in which anyone who does not proclaim submission to “Allah” [that would include all other religions] the Koran not only justifies but praises the killing of.

Allah is NOT the “God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” that Jews and Christians worship. This is a lie, but it is pervasive.

Islam is not, nor could it ever be, a “peaceful religion,” and even a brief study of its rise and spread will provide plenty of proof of that.

Ultimately it is obedience to the violent, exclusivistic, hate-filled teachings in their own religion’s book that makes Muslims have to become world-class terrorists.

It is an unimaginable disgrace to the memory of innocent blood shed to place a symbol of their murderers on or near that ground.

And it is a dangerous (and I would say, cowardly) act of acquiescence to the lie of “moderate Islam” which could serve to embolden the enemies of Israel and America.

I vehemently oppose the plan of construction and would strongly encourage others to speak out against it.

If you doubt anything I’ve written, please research the beliefs of Islam.

  31. Jason you wrote, Is God conerned about the mosque and what signal it will send to the world? God is cncerned about all injustices done in the world.God was angry with the Jews for building temples to and worshiping baal and other gods and idols. As folowers of Jesus we are to stand up against unrightousness and evil.Isaiah 1:17 Learn to to do good;Seek justice,Reprove the ruthless;Defend the orphan,Plead for the widow.

  32. Ruth,I could’nt agree more.Anyone that would research thier beliefs will find you speak the truth.I believe allah is the great deceiver. The father of all lies and the turth is not in him.

  33. Matthew 28:17-20 “When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am WITH YOU always, even to the end of the age.”

  34. It’s weird that when some people saw Jesus after his death and resurrection, they were still doubtful, even though Jesus revealed himself to them. And even spoke to them.

  35. Ruth, And Americans are to become “the vivtims of their own belief system,” in the name of religious tolerance, freedom, and separation of church and state? When I think of all the efforts founders of local synagogues and churches in various locations in the USA have sacrificed to give over decades, and this center is simply voted to be extant by the civil leadership so influenced of liberty over time, it is obvious that wisdom has left the fold, and that the fold is no longer a representative one.
